Roxana Tofan’s article The War Next Door was absolutely — warm, heartfelt, touching and so REAL! With all of the stories in the newspaper and on TV, I have not seen anything like this. It is absolutely wonderful!  

The vertical one liners in the inside of the pages are so funny! Some favorites: ‘The teacher said that that “that” that that girl used in a sentence was correct.’ ‘Three of my favorite things are eating my family and not using commas.’ ‘Before was was was, was was is.’ Where do you find these????

The (July-August) contest (Official Baby Boomers Qualifying Exam was fun. That I found it so easy is proof, I guess, that I really am a baby boomer. And the Generational Chart that accompanied the Millennials Driving the Real Estate Market article reminded me of just how long ago I came of age. Yikes!

I particularly enjoyed The Wit & Wisdom of Winston Churchill but then, I particularly enjoyed almost everything! What a diverse collection of interesting, informative and fun stuff!

How Much Real Estate Could You Buy For $1 Million? was a great graphic—I really appreciate the visuals. The Network is a genuinely fun read!

I want to apologize for __________’s ultra-politically correct stance (in her letter to the editor which appeared in the _______ issue. To reiterate her comment, “This is ______ if you haven’t noticed.” As a fellow real estate professional, let me assure you that I don’t perceive your publication as offensive. Rather, I think anyone who feels that their profession could be somehow diminished by a joke in a trade magazine may be insecure about their line of work. For someone to be so offended that they bothered to take the time to reach out to their local chapter of CREW is a sure sign that their career is not going as well as it should be. I would offer this advice to (those) who take offense to everything. You have two choices when you wake up each day: Make the world a better place, leading by example OR complain about the way things are. It’s that simple. All that energy you waste worrying about how life isn’t fair could be directed into being a productive member of society. (This year) is a fresh start. Let’s see if I can practice what I preach.

The Contest (Where’s That School?) was very timely in this issue with March Madness going on. Why wasn’t Villanova on the list? (Just kidding. It was fun. Hope I win!)

On the same day as I get a new issue, when I get home and sit down with a glass of wine, I go right to the Diversions — both to bring a smile and to help me relax. And in this issue, you had the Banished Words List and the Wayne State Word Warriors — more fun and informative pieces. Thank you!

It isn’t that the articles and humor in the magazine aren’t great—because they are—but the covers and the Artchitecture pages just blow me away!

I really enjoy You Need (or might want) to Know. It’s always interesting information – one of the many features that makes The Network so much more than a real estate magazine.

I particularly enjoy the features Real Estate of the Future and Wow Factor(s) – but there is so much there! I may not read every word of every article, but I do at least look at every page (so I don’t miss any of the Vertical Lines). By the way, I just order the book.

I enjoyed reading through (the network) last night. I had a good laugh when I came across your Andy Rooney page as I always enjoyed him at the end of 60 Minutes, but my wife would leave the room when he came on LOL.
